Drawing since she could hold a pencil, Anne Piombino is inspired by and drawn to the beauty of the outdoor world, seeing opportunities for art everywhere.  It is her goal to capture those transcendent moments that many of us overlook, whether they are the way light hits a subject, or the intimate encounters between people, and the spirituality inherent in both.

A professional graphic artist since 1997, Anne has recently transitioned her career to the fine arts, working primarily in mixed media and pastels.  She is a member of the Morris County Art Association and the New Jersey Society of En Plein Air Artists, and founder of the North Jersey Artists Salon.  She  participates in exhibitions at local art galleries and museums and remains active in plein air events in and around NJ.
