Pleasureland

Fundraising has begun for the Rehabilitation of the Pleasureland/Mueller’s Park Properties.

Although a plan has not been finalized yet, the Recreation Commission and Environmental Commission along with the help of Councilman Visconti have been working to make this 40+acre park a place for present and future Oakland generations.  Click here for the initial plans and updates on town meetings.

In the meanwhile to start the fundraising, the SAO has gotten it’s hands on vintage Pleasureland shirts.  Thanks to the Recreation Commissions contacts with the former Pleasureland owners these original logos were discovered deep within the Pleasureland archives.  After carefully restoring the original templates, we are able to bring to life this memorabilia of a bygone era.  These replica’s of the original shirts sold were exclusive to Pleasureland customers only; now they are exclusive to the SAO.

So turn the clock back by buying a vintage Pleasureland shirt for the same price they were sold for in the 1970′s only $15 and support the rehabilitation process of this magnificent property!

100% of all proceeds will be used in the rehabilitation process of the Pleasureland/Mueller’s Park properties also known as Heritage Hills.

T-Shirts will be available to purchase at the Oakland Town Carnival or contact Mike Guadagnino @ coachguad@aol.com
